About Foundation

Dear friends!

I express my deep respect to you and take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for our cooperation.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion by Russia, as a citizen of Ukraine, a member of parliament, and a retired Lieutenant General of the Security Service of Ukraine, Andrii Anatoliiovych Kozhemiakin joined the ranks of the volunteer formation "Mriia" of the territorial community of the city of Kyiv (Military Unit A7374, 205th Separate Brigade, 241st Separate Mechanized Infantry Battalion), which carries out tasks of territorial defense within the capital region, as envisaged by the Law of Ukraine "On the Basics of National Resistance."

Currently, in addition to legislative work, I carry out combat orders from the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation. I am also involved in addressing humanitarian aid issues for military servicemembers, their families, and Ukrainian citizens affected by Russian aggression.

Speech by Member of Parliament A.A. Kozhemyakin

On January 20, 2025, during the Ukraine-NATO Interparliamentary Council meeting, the Alliance was urged to adopt the “Peace through Strength” approach. The statement emphasized providing Ukraine with more missiles, air defense systems, and multirole fighter jets.
Following the meeting, the Ukraine-NATO Interparliamentary Council adopted a declaration supporting Ukraine in countering Russian aggression and called on the Alliance to strengthen its assistance. The statement highlighted the unwavering support for Ukraine from Alliance members and noted that both military and non-military aid are crucial in countering Russian advances.
The statement also called on the leaders of NATO member states to adopt the “Peace through Strength” approach and double their efforts to enable Ukraine to "effectively defend itself" in 2025.
“We urge allies to intensify efforts to equip Ukraine for effective defense in 2025, including the supply of medium-range missiles, air defense systems, and multirole fighter jets; as well as fully aligning Ukraine's defense capabilities with NATO standards by 2028,” the final document stated.
It also mentions inviting Ukraine to join the Alliance, initiatives to hold Russian officials accountable for human rights violations, war crimes, crimes of aggression, and other breaches of international law.

On November 26, 2024, a session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly took place. The NATO Parliamentary Assembly adopted an important resolution that includes a series of strategic recommendations for supporting Ukraine in its resistance to Russian aggression. One of the key points of the document is a call for allies to provide Ukraine with medium-range missiles. These missiles, capable of striking targets at distances between 1,000 and 5,500 kilometers, would significantly enhance Ukraine's defense capabilities. At the same time, the resolution emphasizes the need to accelerate Ukraine's integration into the North Atlantic Alliance. NATO membership would be a crucial step toward ensuring the country's security and stability in the region. The Assembly stressed that such a move not only aligns with Ukraine's interests but also strengthens the Alliance's own security, as Ukraine has already demonstrated its commitment to democratic values and its ability to effectively collaborate with partners.

October 1st is the Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine. It is a significant national holiday aimed at honoring all the heroes who courageously defend our homeland from enemies.

I pay tribute and bow my head to the courage, resilience, and incomprehensible strength of the defenders of Ukraine! On this day, we honor the Ukrainian heroes whose lives are dedicated to protecting our state from any threats to its independence.

The "Mriya" and other units are responsible for shooting down drones. Ukrainians also utilize skyscrapers for this purpose. Drones are one of Russia's weapons in the war against Ukraine, leaving a trail of destruction in the form of destroyed buildings, injured civilians, and casualties.
